Studio 3 is now open and available for bookings, 24/7. It’s equipped with some really good gear and early feedback has been great. Both regular and one-off sessions are available – in order to reward the regulars, weekly sessions are eligible for a block-booking discount if sessions paid for in advance.

In addition to this I am introducing some more services for bands. The first of which is equipment rental - additional equipment is now available to rent and is charged per session (not by the hour). This includes

  • Marshall AVT150 guitar amp (head)
  • Audix D6 (kick drum microphone)
  • Sennheiser E904 drum mics (clip on)
  • Snare drums (choice of either Tama Superstar or DW Pacific)
More services will be announced soon. Additionally, if you have any comments or suggestions, please get in touch.

Studio 3 nearly finished! PDF Print E-mail

Studio 3 is very nearly finished!

It will be open and available for bookings from Monday 10th November. The studio calendar will be online shortly too.

The studio will be equipped with the following gear:

  • Mackie SRM450 PA speakers + 12-channel mixer with effects
  • Tama Superstar drum kit + hardware
  • Marshall 1960 4x12 cab
  • Ashdown MAGC410T-300 Bass amp
  • 3x SM58 mics, stands and leads
In addition to this equipment I have decided to invest in a guitar amplifier - a Marshall AVT150H which will be available to use for a small cost.

The studio will also double up as a recording studio with a control room for bands who want to come in and get a some tracks down or even just want to record a rehearsal. And best of all - it's not going to cost you any more than you're currently paying to rehearse, in fact if you rehearse elsewhere for the same amount of time you are probably already paying more. Prices will still be at the fixed rate of £45 for a 6 hour session in the evening and £35 during the day.

If you'd like to book a session or even a viewing, please get in contact.

Does it look like a studio yet?

Perhaps not in this picture but it's very nearly finished and work has started on studio 4! The brickwork is all done for studio 3 and the first layer of roofing has gone up. This studio will set the standard you should expect from a rehearsal space.

If you fancy a change of scenery from your current rehearsal studio or you just want to save some money, come and try The Rhoom.

If you’re one of many young musicians and your band need a place to rehearse over half term, I’m offering reduced rates to help out.

Between Monday 27th and Friday 31st October, all rehearsal prices will be reduced for bands and musicians from local schools and colleges.

Daytime rehearsals will be reduced to £25, evenings to £35. That’s shaving £10 off the normal price for each session.

All you need to do to take advantage of this offer is book a rehearsal using the online system (above) and state which school / college you attend in the ‘additional comments’ box. If you are a student then you may be asked to show your student ID on the day so please bring it with you just in case.
