From Monday 13th July, the prices of some rehearsals will be changing. I'm confident you'll still find these prices to be well below my competitors - any feedback is very welcome. My prices have stayed the same for a little over 2 years now and in an effort to expand services and improve the quality of the existing studios, a small increase is necessary: - An evening rehearsal, 6pm to as late as you like will be £50
- 6pm to 9pm or 9pm to as late as you like - £35
- A 3 hour evening session of your choosing - £40
- A 4 hour evening session of your choosing - £45
- A daytime session during the week (Monday to Friday) - £35
- Weekend daytime or evening rehearsals - £50 (or as above re: 3 and 4 hour sessions and set 6-9pm or 9pm-late sessions)
**Please note, these price changes will only apply to rehearsals BOOKED after 13th July. Any single rehearsals either paid for in advance or already booked in will be at the agreed price on the date of booking. The new prices will apply to bands with a regular weekly or fortnightly session from 13th July.**What will be changing: - I'm abolishing the guitar amp and snare drum rental costs. The two guitar amps will be available on a first come, first served basis for no extra charge to your rehearsal. Please inform me that you wish to use an amp (or both) when you book your rehearsal. I will be acquiring more guitar amps over the next couple of months so there will be a few to choose from.
- I'm planning to set up a small shop on-site. There will be a range of food products available to buy from bottled water and soft drinks to crisps and chocolate bars (I'll try to get some real food too!). I also plan to have guitar strings, drum sticks, plectrums, leads and other essentials available to buy too.
- Lock-ups - I'll be building some lockups for bands to leave their equipment with 24/7 access. More on this soon!
- I'm replacing the mic stands and leads in all of the studios with more durable ones.
- and of course, Studio 4 is about to open with even higher-spec gear than the other studios.
Hopefully these justify the small price increase. As ever, any feedback is very welcome - please give me a call, email or text and I'll be happy to discuss anything with you. Also, I've put a questionnaire up (link on the left). This is your chance to tell me what you want from The Rhoom as ultimately, I want to provide it for cheaper and better than the competition. Studio 4 is taking shape! The brickwork and roof construction is now complete so the next phase of the building work can commence. The studio is being built to near-perfect acoustic properties. The height and shape of the studio, the faces of the walls and even the wall construction has been designed to create the perfect environment for sound recording and rehearsing. The process is still on schedule to complete by August this year. More updates to come! |

Rhoom 4!
Big news - building work starts tomorrow on Studio 4! It will be located next to Studio 3 and as well as providing a comfortable rehearsal space, Studio 4 is being designed with focus on becoming a recording studio! I'm also installing a few lockups for bands to securely leave their gear. This will bring a lot of facilities under one roof; if you simply want to rehearse in a lush new studio, have your rehearsal recorded to a professional standard or come in to record you bands album, all services will be affordably and professionally provided. More info on technical specs will be provided shortly. Check back soon for updates. |

You may be asked to provide student ID, so if you have it, bring it along to the rehearsal. With the addition of Studio 3 last year, I'm now able to offer more options to bands who wish to book a rehearsal: Evenings:
- 6pm to late - £45
- 6pm to 9pm - £30
- 9pm to midnight - £30
- other 3 hour sessions - £35
- other 4 hour sessions - £40 Daytime:
12noon to 6pm: £35
3 hours: £25
4 hours: £30 Morning:
(weekday) Early to 12noon: £25
(weekend) Early to 12noon: £30 Nocturnal:
